The East Skylight Waterproofing project at the Orlando International Airport required detailed waterproofing installation to rows of aluminum troughs set between rows of transparent skylights. Deck coating was installed in all of the trough rows and waterproof expansion joints were installed at each overlap of aluminum panels in the trough area. All sealant was replaced in the skylight area to include wet-sealing, perimeter sealant, and sealant was installed at all fastener penetrations. This project required highly organized coordination with the airport authority, a construction manager, and a roofing contractor performing various roof repairs and improvements.
